This painting is called 'Lucky Number Seven' and is currently at the Canal Street Gallery. It's part of an big, old clock that I love because of the beautiful gnarly bits and chips that show its age. It's 22"x30". SOLD
I have always loved art since I was a child. I decided for practical reasons to become a psychotherapist and I had a private practice for 18 years although I always loved looking at art. I finally let myself return to art and took lessons in watercolor at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas with Arthur Turner. I am interested in clocks, the older the better. I think they are beautiful markers of time and the chipped and aged parts are the most appealing. I plan to make some small clock paintings, hopefully one a day, to post and sell.
